Privacy Policy
The short version: we collect nothing, and nothing you do leaves your device.
Last updated 2 September 2026
No data collected
Stake Rider Perfomance has no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no tracking, no account system and no server of its own. The app makes no network requests of its own and collects no personal data whatsoever. Everything the game remembers is written to private storage on your device and stays there.
This policy applies to the iOS app Stake Rider Perfomance and to nobody else's software. It explains what the app stores, what it never stores, and the choices you have. In this document "we" means the developer of the app and "you" means the person using it.
Nothing. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, share or process any personal data. We have no way to identify you, no way to contact you unless you email us first, and no database in which anything about you could exist.
Because the app collects no data, there is nothing for us to disclose to third parties, nothing to hand over in response to a request, and nothing that could be exposed in a breach of our systems.
The game keeps your progress so you can put it down and come back. All of it is written to the app's own sandboxed storage on the device and is readable only by the app. None of it is uploaded.
| Stored item | Why | Leaves the device |
|---|---|---|
| Rider name and race number | Shown on your licence and on grid entries | No |
| Rider portrait | Shown on your licence and result cards. Cropped and resized on device before it is saved | No |
| Credits, nitro, experience, league points, reputation | Game progression | No |
| Machines, fitted parts, component levels, tuning | Garage state | No |
| Race history, lap records, accolades, contracts, sponsor deals | Progression and personal records | No |
| Audio, haptics, control scheme and display preferences | Settings | No |
| Reminder schedule | Local notifications only | No |
Deleting the app removes all of it. You can also erase everything from inside the game at any time with Settings → Data → Reset Career, which is immediate and cannot be undone.
Each permission is requested only at the moment you use the feature that needs it, never on launch. Declining any of them leaves the rest of the game fully playable.
| Permission | When it is asked | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Only when you tap Take A Photo in Rider Portrait | Taking a portrait for your rider licence. The photo is cropped and resized on device, saved in the app's own storage, and never uploaded, shared or analysed. |
| Photo Library | Only when you tap Choose From Library in Rider Portrait | Picking an existing picture as your portrait. Only the image you choose is read. The app does not browse, scan or index your library. |
| Notifications | Only when you switch on race reminders | Local reminders about daily contracts and open events. They are scheduled on the device by iOS. No push server is involved. |
| Motion | Only when you select the Lean control scheme | Reading device tilt so you can steer by leaning. The readings are used in the moment and never recorded. |
If you decline the camera or photo library, your licence simply shows your initials. If you decline notifications, no reminders are scheduled. If you decline motion, the Drag and Buttons control schemes remain available.
The game is free and can be finished without paying. It offers optional donations towards continued development, and each one includes a thank-you in in-game currency.
All payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The app receives only the result of the transaction — whether it succeeded — and never sees, stores or transmits your payment details, card number, billing address or Apple Account. We have no server for such information to be sent to. Refunds, billing questions and subscription management are handled by Apple.
In-game credits and nitro cells are game items with no monetary value. They cannot be cashed out, withdrawn, transferred between players or exchanged for anything of real-world value.
The app has no user-generated content, no chat, no social features, no advertising and no links out other than Apple's own purchase and settings sheets. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children either. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone, of any age, because we gather none.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you, and to object to its sale or sharing.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to produce, correct, export or delete on your behalf, and nothing we could sell or share. The data described above lives on your device, under your control, and you can erase it yourself at any moment through Settings → Data → Reset Career or by deleting the app.
The app bundles typefaces, music and sound effects under open licences. These are files compiled into the app; they are not services, they run no code of their own and they receive no information about you.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, attribution or social SDKs of any kind.
If the app ever begins to collect data — which would require a change to how it works — this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Questions about privacy, or about anything in this policy, are welcome. We answer every message, usually within two working days.
